Coat Giveaway

What We Provide
Each November, we host our annual Coat Giveaway to help local children stay warm throughout the cold Maine winter. We collect and distribute new coats, jackets, hats, mittens, and scarves to children in need. Our goal is to ensure that no child in our community has to face winter without proper outerwear. Items include:

  • Winter coats and jackets

  • Hats and mittens/gloves

  • Scarves and neck warmers

  • Snow pants and boots (as available)

All items are brand new.

Who We Serve
The Coat Giveaway serves school-aged children in Augusta and surrounding towns. We work closely with school counselors, social workers, and local agencies to reach families who need support.

 

How to Receive a Coat
The Coat Giveaway typically takes place in early to mid-November — please visit our Events page for details and updates.
